Ingredients

8 slices white or whole wheat sandwich bread (crusts removed)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
4 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp fresh parsley (or 1 tsp dried)
1/4 tsp salt

For Serving (optional):

Marinara sauce
Garlic herb sauce
Ranch dressing
Spicy ketchup

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Flatten Bread: Use a rolling pin to flatten each bread slice until thin and even.
Add Filling: Sprinkle mozzarella and cheddar cheese along the bottom third of each slice. Roll tightly into logs and seal edges if needed.
Make Garlic Butter: Mix melted butter, minced garlic, garlic powder, parsley, and salt in a small bowl.

Brush & Bake: Place rollups seam-side down on the baking sheet. Brush generously with garlic butter. Bake for 12–15 minutes until golden and crispy.

Air fryer option: Cook at 360°F (180°C) for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway.

Serve: Let cool slightly and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

Flattening the bread helps create a tight roll and crisp texture.
Add Parmesan on top before baking for extra flavor.
Try adding pepperoni or cooked chicken for a heartier version.
Best served fresh for maximum crispiness.
