A sweet and savory honey pineapple delight with juicy salmon, tropical flavors, and a sticky glaze perfect for a quick dinner.
4 salmon fillets
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup pineapple juice
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste
Sliced pineapple and chopped fresh cilantro (optional, for garnish)
Preheat Oven:
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
Prepare the Glaze:
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, pineapple juice, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger until well combined.
Season Salmon:
Place salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet. Season with salt and pepper.
Apply Glaze:
Brush the glaze generously over the salmon, reserving some for basting.
Bake:
Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until salmon flakes easily with a fork. Baste with remaining glaze halfway through cooking.
Garnish & Serve:
Remove from oven and garnish with sliced pineapple and fresh cilantro if desired. Serve hot.
Do not overcook salmon to keep it moist and tender.
Fresh pineapple juice enhances flavor but canned works as well.
Add chili flakes for a sweet-spicy variation.
Serve with rice, quinoa, or roasted vegetables.
