Ingredients

For the Steak Bites:

1 lb beef sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 tbsp honey

1 tbsp sriracha

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Cheddar Lava Drizzle:

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1/4 cup milk

1/4 cup diced jalapeños

Instructions

Marinate the Steak:
In a medium bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, sriracha, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Add the steak pieces and toss to coat. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Cook the Steak Bites:
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated steak (no need to add oil if the steak is well coated). Sear for 3–4 minutes per side until caramelized and cooked to your preferred doneness. Remove from heat.

Make the Cheddar Lava Sauce:
In a small saucepan over low heat, combine cheddar cheese and milk. Stir until melted and smooth. Add diced jalapeños and mix well.

Serve:
Plate the steak bites and drizzle generously with the hot cheddar lava sauce. Serve immediately and enjoy the sweet heat!

Notes

Use pre-shredded cheddar for convenience, or freshly grate for best melting.

Adjust the sriracha or jalapeños to make it spicier or milder.

Serve as an appetizer with toothpicks or over rice or potatoes for a full meal.

Leftover cheese sauce can be used for nachos or burgers.
