Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (softened)
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 Snickers bars (chopped into small chunks)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In another larger bowl, beat the softened butter, peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and creamy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract and beat until fully combined.
  5. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until a soft dough forms.
  6. Gently fold in the chopped Snickers pieces, making sure they’re evenly distributed.
  7. Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop dough balls onto the baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set and the centers look slightly underbaked. They will continue cooking as they cool.
  9. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.

Notes

  • For variations, you can swap the Snickers with mini Milky Way or Twix bars or add chopped roasted peanuts for extra crunch.
  • Refrigerate the dough for up to 48 hours before baking, but allow it to sit at room temperature for 15-20 minutes before scooping if chilled.
  • The cookies store in an airtight container for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
