Ingredients

  • 2 cups white rum
  • 1 (12 oz) can frozen orange juice concentrate

  • 3 cups pineapple juice
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 3 cups water
  • Lemon-lime soda, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine sugar and water. Heat until sugar dissolves to make a simple syrup, then let cool completely.
  2. In a large freezer-safe container, mix cooled syrup with rum, orange juice concentrate, lemonade concentrate, and pineapple juice until smooth.
  3. Cover and freeze overnight, or for at least 8 hours.
  4. To serve, scoop frozen mixture into glasses and top each with lemon-lime soda. Stir gently and enjoy.

Notes

  • Makes about 12 servings.
  • Use spiced rum for a warmer, richer flavor.
  • Swap some pineapple juice with coconut water or add coconut rum for a tropical twist.
  • Reduce sugar or use diet soda for a less sweet version.
  • Stays scoopable in the freezer for up to 3 months.
