Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat butter with granulated and brown sugars until creamy.
  4. Add egg, red food coloring, vanilla, and vinegar; mix until combined.
  5. Gradually mix in dry ingredients until just incorporated.
  6. For stuffed cookies: scoop dough, flatten, add cream cheese filling, top with another flattened dough piece, and seal edges.
  7. For glaze: bake cookies as-is and drizzle with cream cheese glaze after cooling.
  8. Bake cookies for 10–12 minutes. Let cool on baking sheet before transferring to wire rack.
