Crispy waffles filled with melty cheese, savory pepperoni, and pizza sauce. A fun and delicious snack perfect for any time of day.
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 pinch salt
1 egg
2 tablespoons sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 tablespoons pizza sauce
50 grams sliced pepperoni
1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk egg, sugar, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until combined.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until smooth.
Preheat a waffle iron and lightly grease it with cooking spray.
Pour batter into the waffle iron and cook for 5–7 minutes until golden brown.
Remove waffles and slice each one in half horizontally.
Spread pizza sauce on the bottom halves.
