This easy slow cooker Ohio Shredded Chicken Sandwiches recipe is the ultimate comfort food! Creamy, hearty, and perfect for feeding a crowd—just toss everything in your crockpot and serve on buns for a fuss-free meal.
3 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 (10 oz each) cans cream of chicken soup
1 cup chicken-flavored stuffing mix
1 sleeve Ritz crackers, crushed
Chicken broth or water, as needed
Hamburger buns, for serving
Place chicken breasts in the insert of a slow cooker. Pour the cream of chicken soup over the top.
Cover and cook on low for 3–4 hours, until chicken is tender and easy to shred with two forks.
Shred the chicken in the slow cooker.
Stir in stuffing mix and crushed Ritz crackers.
Cover again and cook for another 30 minutes, until stuffing and crackers soften.
