Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup white vinegar or apple cider vinegar

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: 1 tablespoon fresh chopped dill or parsley

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine sliced cucumbers, tomatoes, and onions.
  2. In a separate bowl or jar, whisk together vinegar, water, olive oil, sugar, salt, and pepper until sugar dissolves.
  3. Pour marinade over vegetables and toss gently to coat evenly.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably longer for deeper flavor.
  5. Before serving, stir well and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
