Ingredients

Main Sliders:

1 lb lean ground beef

1/2 small white onion, minced

1 beef bouillon cube

1/2 cup water

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

12-pack slider buns

1/3 cup dill pickle slices

6 slices American cheese

Butter Sauce:

1/2 cup butter, melted

2 tablespoons brown sugar

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef and minced onion, breaking up the meat as it browns.

Drain grease if necessary. Add bouillon cube, water, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until liquid evaporates.

Place the bottoms of the slider buns in a baking dish. Spoon the beef mixture evenly over the buns.

Add pickle slices and top with American cheese. Place the tops of the buns over the cheese.

In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Brush generously over the tops of the buns.

Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.

Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For a slightly crispier top, remove the foil during the last 5 minutes of baking.

You can substitute cheddar or Swiss cheese if preferred.

Ground turkey can be used in place of beef for a leaner option.

Perfect for meal prep — leftovers store well in the fridge and can be reheated in the oven or microwave.
