Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 23 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz pasta (penne or fettuccine)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Optional: 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Optional: fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken breasts generously on both sides with Cajun seasoning.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until cooked through. Remove and let rest.
  4. In the same skillet, add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese and a little more Cajun seasoning, letting the sauce thicken slightly.
  5. Slice the cooked chicken and return to the skillet along with the cooked pasta. Toss everything to coat evenly in the creamy sauce.
  6. Serve hot, topped with extra Parmesan and chopped parsley if desired.

Notes

  • Add vegetables like spinach, cherry tomatoes, or bell peppers for color and nutrition.
  • Swap chicken for Cajun shrimp for a seafood version.
  • Use half-and-half instead of cream to lighten it up.
  • Add cayenne or hot sauce for more spice.
  • Try cream cheese or mozzarella for extra creaminess.
  • Reheat gently with a splash of milk or cream to loosen the sauce.
