Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate hazelnut spread (like Nutella)
  • 3/4 cup roasted hazelnuts, chopped
  • 1 cup semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips
  • 1020 Ferrero Rocher chocolates (optional, for topping or stuffing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in eggs and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until combined.
  6. Fold in chopped hazelnuts and chocolate chips. Optionally swirl in chocolate hazelnut spread.
  7. Scoop dough onto the prepared baking sheet. Optionally press or stuff with a Ferrero Rocher chocolate.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are set and centers are soft.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
