Ingredients

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 12 oz pasta (fettuccine, linguine, or penne)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional)
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Season shrimp with Cajun seasoning until well coated.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until pink. Remove and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add chicken broth and heavy cream. Simmer gently for a few minutes.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese until sauce thickens and becomes smooth.
  6. Cook pasta according to package instructions, then drain.
  7. Return shrimp to the skillet, add cooked pasta, and toss to coat evenly in the sauce.
  8. Season with salt, pepper, and lemon juice if using. Garnish with parsley before serving.
