Soft, fluffy, and coated in sweet cinnamon sugar, these easy biscuit dough donuts bake up golden and irresistible—perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert.
1 can refrigerated biscuits
1/4 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
4 tablespoons butter, melted
Preheat oven: Set oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a shallow baking pan with butter or cooking spray.
Prepare coating: Melt butter in a small bowl (microwave or stovetop). In another bowl, mix together sugar and cinnamon.
Form donut balls: Separate biscuits and cut each into four pieces. Roll each piece into a ball.
Coat with butter and cinnamon sugar: Dip each ball in melted butter, then roll in the cinnamon-sugar mixture until evenly covered.
Bake: Arrange coated balls in the prepared baking dish, allowing them to touch slightly. Bake for 18–20 minutes, or until golden brown.
Cool and serve: Let cool for 5–10 minutes before serving warm.
For a stronger cinnamon flavor, add extra cinnamon to the sugar mixture.
Substitute coconut oil for butter to make the recipe dairy-free.
Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
