Ingredients

  • 2 cooked breaded chicken cutlets (sliced)
  • 1 pound pizza dough (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce, plus more for serving
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Optional: chopped fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out pizza dough into a large rectangle or circle, about 1/4-inch thick.
  3. On one half, layer sliced chicken, marinara sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese.
  4. Fold dough over filling, press edges to seal, and crimp with a fork.
  5. Brush top with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning and extra Parmesan.
  6. Cut a few small slits on top to release steam.
  7. Bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  8. Let rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with extra marinara on the side.
