Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 onion, chopped

½ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon onion powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1 tablespoon minced garlic

12 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

¼ cup ketchup

1 tablespoon mustard

1 cup Arby’s sauce

Onion buns

Crispy fried onions

Nacho cheese sauce

Instructions

Brown the Beef
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and chopped onion. Cook until beef is fully browned and onion is softened. Season with salt, pepper, onion powder, and paprika. Drain excess grease.

Make the Sauce
Stir in minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, mustard, and Arby’s sauce. Mix well and reduce heat to low. Let simmer for 3–5 minutes to allow flavors to blend.

Prepare the Buns
Toast onion buns in a separate skillet until lightly golden. Warm the nacho cheese sauce according to package directions.

Assemble the Sandwiches
Spoon a generous portion of the sloppy Joe mixture onto the bottom bun. Top with crispy fried onions. Spread or drizzle warm nacho cheese sauce onto the top bun, then place it over the sandwich.

Serve
Serve immediately while warm and enjoy!

Notes

Add sliced cheddar cheese under the beef for extra cheesiness.

For a spicy kick, mix hot sauce into the cheese sauce.

Substitute brioche buns if onion buns are unavailable.

Leftover beef mixture stores well in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
