Ingredients

For the Beef:

  • 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

For the Lo Mein:

  • 8 oz lo mein noodles
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1/2 cup beef broth

Instructions

  1. Marinate the beef: In a bowl, combine sliced flank steak with soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and cornstarch. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Cook the noodles: Cook lo mein noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. Stir-fry the beef: Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet. Stir-fry marinated beef until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  4. Cook the broccoli: In the same pan, stir-fry broccoli until tender-crisp. Remove and set aside.
