  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice (about 1 lime)
  • 1/4 cup cold water or coconut water
  • Optional: 1–2 tsp honey or agave syrup (if watermelon isn’t sweet enough)
  • Optional: a few ice cubes for thicker texture

Instructions

  1. Cube the watermelon and freeze it for at least 4 hours or overnight until solid.
  2. Place the frozen watermelon in a blender along with mint leaves and lime juice.
  3. Add cold water or coconut water to help blend smoothly.
  4. If a thicker texture is desired, add a few ice cubes.
  5. Blend on high until smooth and slushy.
  6. Pour into glasses and garnish with lime wedges or mint sprigs if desired.

Notes

  • Best enjoyed immediately for the freshest texture.
  • Sweeten with honey or agave if your watermelon isn’t sweet enough.
  • Freeze leftovers in ice cube trays and re-blend for later.
  • Use fresh lime juice for the best flavor.
  • Spearmint offers a milder flavor, while peppermint adds a bolder minty note.
