The best sausage pancake muffins made with fluffy pancake mix, savory sausage, melted cheddar cheese, and sweet maple flavor. A perfect grab and go breakfast idea.

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line mini muffin tins with paper liners or lightly coat with nonstick spray.
Cook the sausage:
In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook the breakfast sausage, breaking it apart into small crumbles. Cook until browned and fully cooked, then drain excess grease.
Prepare the batter:
In a large bowl, whisk together the pancake mix, water, and maple syrup until smooth.
Add the fillings:
