Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated cinnamon roll dough with icing (approx. 12.4 oz)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
  2. Unroll half of the cinnamon roll dough and press it into the bottom of the dish to form an even layer.
  3. In a bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Spread the cheesecake mixture evenly over the dough layer.
  5. Sprinkle ground cinnamon over the cheesecake layer.
  6. Place the remaining dough on top, either in pieces or flattened into a sheet.
  7. Bake for 25–30 minutes, until golden brown and set in the center.
  8. Let cool for at least 15–20 minutes.
  9. Drizzle with included icing before slicing and serving.
