Ingredients

3 cups cocoa Rice Krispies

1 cup peanut butter

1 cup milk chocolate chips

36 Cadbury mini eggs

Instructions

Place the milk chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave in 30-second intervals on low power, stirring between each interval until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.

Immediately stir the peanut butter into the melted chocolate until well combined.

Pour the chocolate and peanut butter mixture over the cocoa Rice Krispies in a large bowl and mix until the cereal is evenly coated.

Lightly grease a 12-count muffin tin with butter or cooking spray.

Scoop the mixture evenly into the muffin cups, pressing slightly so each cup is full.

Use the back of a round measuring spoon to gently hollow out the center of each portion to form a nest shape.

Place the muffin tin in the refrigerator or freezer until the nests are firm.

Once hardened, remove the nests and place three Cadbury mini eggs in the center of each nest. Serve and enjoy.

Notes

You can line the muffin tin with paper liners for easier removal.

Store the bird nests in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

If cocoa Rice Krispies are unavailable, you can use chocolate cereal or cornflakes instead.

These treats are perfect for Easter parties, spring desserts, or fun kids’ baking projects.
