1 bag frozen French fries or 4 large russet potatoes, cut into fries

Beef

½ lb ground beef

Seasonings

1 tsp paprika

½ tsp garlic powder

Salt, to taste

Black pepper, to taste

Cheese & Dairy

1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

½ cup sour cream

Toppings

¼ cup diced red onion

¼ cup chopped tomatoes

2 tbsp chopped parsley or green onions

Instructions

Preheat Oven
Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) to ensure crispy fries.

Bake Fries
Arrange fries in a single layer on a sheet pan. Bake for 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crisp.

Cook Beef
Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it apart, until browned. Season with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Drain excess fat.

Assemble Fries
Transfer baked fries to an oven-safe dish. Sprinkle cheddar cheese evenly over fries, then add cooked beef on top.

Melt Cheese
Return dish to oven and bake for 5 minutes, or until cheese is fully melted.

Add Toppings & Serve
Drizzle sour cream over the fries. Sprinkle with red onion, tomatoes, and parsley or green onions. Serve immediately while hot.

Notes

Pat fresh-cut potatoes dry before baking for extra crispiness.

Customize with jalapeños, bacon bits, or hot sauce.

Serve straight from the oven for best texture and flavor.
