Ingredients

  • 1 baguette, sliced into 12 thin rounds
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 68 fresh strawberries, halved or sliced
  • 1 fresh jalapeño, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp honey or balsamic glaze (optional for drizzling)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill or grill pan over medium heat.
  2. Brush baguette slices lightly with olive oil.
  3. Grill baguette slices for 1–2 minutes per side until golden and crisp. Set aside.
  4. Grill strawberries just until light grill marks form and they soften slightly. Remove from grill.
  5. Spread a layer of cream cheese on each toasted crostini.
  6. Top each with a grilled strawberry slice and a thin jalapeño slice.
  7. Drizzle with honey or balsamic glaze if desired.
  8. Season lightly with salt and pepper before serving.
