Ingredients
- 1 baguette, sliced into 12 thin rounds
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 6–8 fresh strawberries, halved or sliced
- 1 fresh jalapeño, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp honey or balsamic glaze (optional for drizzling)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat grill or grill pan over medium heat.
- Brush baguette slices lightly with olive oil.
- Grill baguette slices for 1–2 minutes per side until golden and crisp. Set aside.
- Grill strawberries just until light grill marks form and they soften slightly. Remove from grill.
- Spread a layer of cream cheese on each toasted crostini.
- Top each with a grilled strawberry slice and a thin jalapeño slice.
- Drizzle with honey or balsamic glaze if desired.
- Season lightly with salt and pepper before serving.
