Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

4 cloves fresh garlic, minced

1 cup grated fresh Parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a baking dish with nonstick spray.

Pat chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.

In a bowl, combine garlic, Parmesan cheese, oregano, melted butter, and olive oil. Mix into a thick paste.

Place chicken in the prepared baking dish and spoon the garlic Parmesan mixture evenly over each breast.

Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the chicken is golden and cooked through (internal temp: 165°F / 74°C).

Let rest for 5 minutes before serving. Spoon any extra sauce from the pan over the chicken for added flavor.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best melt and flavor.

Add a touch of crushed red pepper flakes for a mild kick.

Pairs perfectly with roasted vegetables, pasta, or mashed potatoes.

Can be made ahead and reheated gently in the oven.
