Ingredients

1 lb chicken breast, thinly sliced

1 cup Alfredo sauce

1 loaf of French bread

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

1/4 cup butter, melted

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a skillet over medium-high heat, cook thinly sliced chicken breast with a little salt and pepper until crispy and cooked through (about 6–8 minutes).

Remove from heat and stir in Alfredo sauce to coat the chicken. Set aside.

Prepare the bread: Cut the top off the French bread loaf and hollow out the center, leaving about 1 inch of bread around the edges.

In a small bowl, mix minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, and melted butter.

Brush the inside of the hollowed bread loaf with the garlic butter mixture.

Fill the loaf with the chicken Alfredo mixture, pressing it in evenly.

Replace the top of the bread and wrap the entire loaf tightly in aluminum foil.

Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until heated through and the top is slightly crisp.

Remove from oven, slice into thick pieces, and serve hot.

Notes

Use rotisserie chicken to save time.

Add mozzarella or provolone cheese for extra melt and stretch.

Swap Alfredo sauce with pesto or marinara for a flavor twist.

Best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be wrapped and reheated in foil.
