Crispy, oven-baked chicken wings tossed in zesty lemon pepper seasoning—simple, bold, and perfect for game day or dinner.
2 lbs chicken wings, split and tips removed
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon lemon pepper seasoning
½ teaspoon garlic powder
Salt, to taste
Lemon wedges, for serving
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper and place a wire rack on top if available.
Pat wings completely dry with paper towels to ensure crispiness.
In a large bowl, toss wings with olive oil, lemon pepper seasoning, garlic powder, and salt until well coated.
Arrange wings in a single layer on the baking rack or sheet, ensuring they don’t touch.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden, crispy, and fully cooked (internal temp should reach 165°F).
Serve hot with lemon wedges for squeezing over the wings.
For extra crispy wings, place them under the broiler for 2–3 minutes at the end.
Want it saucier? Toss baked wings in melted butter + lemon pepper mixture just before serving.
Add a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes if you like a little heat.
Pairs well with ranch, blue cheese dip, or a simple Greek yogurt sauce.
